Cranes of the World

Opened in June 2000,Cranes of the World is home to whooping crane, blue crane, Manchurian crane and hooded crane. The exhibit is a lush environment constructed on the Zoo's existing waterway. The Zoo removed old galvanized metal-fence pens and constructed three large enclosures. The exhibit can be viewed from a beautiful boardwalk that borders the river. New graphics, tree lighting, landscape and an ornamental wrought iron fence tops an existing limestone wall.
