Close Encounters of the Zoo Kind

Wow! Did you see that! Zoo staff, docents, teens, and interns present exciting educational encounters every day. They're fun and informative! Our goal is to provide guests with recreation and the opportunity to observe and learn about the Zoo's unique and interesting animals. These encounters change daily, so come back soon to see what new is going on at the Zoo! We hope your encounter is as much fun to you as it is to us.

Keeper Connections

Visit with the keepers and learn more about the animals during daily keeper connections.

• Condors – 7 days a week at 10:45
• Elephants – 7 days a week at 11:30
• Hippo feeding - 7 days a week at 3:00
• Komodo dragon feeding – Wednesdays at 1:30
• Orinoco crocodile feeding - Sundays at 1:30 beginning March 28th
• Tomistoma feeding - Thursdays at 1:30
• Gharial feeding - Fridays at 1:30
• American alligator feeding - Saturdays at 1:30
