Roots & Shoots, a program of the Jane Goodall Institute, is
a powerful youth-driven, global network of more than 8,000 groups in almost 100 countries. Join the Zoo’s chapter and help take action to improve our world through service learning projects that promote care and concern for
animals, the environment and the human community.

Meeting one hour a week for four weeks, this program
encourages child/adult interactions in a fun-filled environment

Registration Required
Each Tuesday and Thursday of the month,
drop off your child at the Education Center
for five hours of zoo education, socializing,
energetic play, and up-close animal
presentations in a pre-school setting.

Meet in the Education classroom with your sack lunch and then follow your Education Guide on a tour up to the treetops for a picnic lunch.
