Just in time for frog watching season. Local frogs start calling in March through the summer months, so it’s a great time to visit the Zoo and learn all about frogs and toads as we embark on an evening hike!

Zoo School

The San Antonio Zoo provides your young
child the opportunity to have encounters with
exotic wildlife as well as with the native wildlife
they find in their own backyards. Zoo School
is an immersive, hands-on environment where
children's curiosity will inspire their learning.
Our new “Zoo School” gives parents and
children a first experience with independence
in a preschool setting. Class size is limited to
12 students.

Let's celebrate the 4th of July with a swim in the riverbank, patriotic music, making a 4th of July windsock to take home, and an All American Birthday Cake with ice cream. This will be fun for all on a hot summer night. Don't forget your swim diapers, swimsuits, and towels. Bring your imagination for a sand castle contest and your appetite for a watermelon eating contest.
