The San Antonio Zoo Docents Spring Out
The spring is the Zoo’s busiest time of year. This March, April and May the zoo will be offering cart presentations to all visiting schools at 9:45 - 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday. These “Spring Out” presentations will focus on the TEK based curriculum we use for indoor presentations and tours throughout the rest of the year. The carts will be set up in different areas of the Zoo and each will have a unique presentation focusing on adaptations, diversity and animal interactions. The presentations will include interesting visual aids, biofacts, and/or handleable animals. Directions and a schedule will be given to teachers at the front gate. We hope you will take the time to visit these carts and help your students get the most out of their Zoo trip. There will be no indoor presentations available in the months of March April and May.
