OF THE UNITED STATES!

A message from the executive director of the san antonio zoo – Steve McCusker

 

Dear City of San Antonio:

A MAJOR milestone has been achieved!

 

I am pleased to announce that last night the United States Senate unanimously passed S. Res. 132, a resolution introduced by Senator Ben Nelson (NE).

 

This resolution, which I have attached, honors and recognizes the nation’s accredited zoos and aquariums. It clearly distinguishes who we are AND WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT.

 

Our sincere thanks to Senator Nelson and the 28 bipartisan cosponsors who are all considered champions for AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums.
